Will We See A Change In Consumer Psychology?


The dramatic decline in consumer spending over the last year has knocked the wind out of many retailers. If they don't listen to the signals being sent from consumers in both America and Europe then they will be swept aside before the recovery begins.   1. Consumers now are doing all they can to save because they have to money, yet when people start spending, money will come, people will probably learn from this economic crisis in the short term, but long term, spending beyond one's means and greed will kick in.

  2. Times are really bad and the last thing people are looking to do is spend money. Reatailers are struggling because these stores best customers are struggling as well. Americans are looking to save in every which way that they can. Because of this a lot of retail stores can not afford to stay open for business and are shutting down.
