Where It's Worse Than 8.5%

    This graph can easily be analyzed... the midwest has the lowest because of farm workers and the more rural setting. This means less competition for jobs. I guess the demand for lumberjacks is high in New Hampshire and there is not much competition for occupations there. The more populated and dense states are the states with higher unemployment rates. The logging industry may be failing in the Pacific Northwest. Florida's problem is with foreclosure rates on homes and unemployment exacerbates that issue.
