The premise that a small group of self-professed "environmentalists" can or should impose their viewpoints upon others is absurd. In American democracy, we buy and use what we want to. A prohibition on a certain type of toilet paper, because a fringe group deems it unenvironmental is opposed to our societal ways. This has been tried, and always fails, because the marketplace (supply and demand) rules what goods are produced and sold. If there are not enough buyers for a product, the product will be discontinued. The whole idea of banning or taxing a product (e.g. fast food, or more recently sodas) is solely for control of the masses, by those that have an elevated sense of their value to society. We see this a lot with liberals, when they say people don't know what's best for them. The speaker is presumptive enough to think he or she knows what's better for the populus.
